In this NIH-funded online research mentor training workshop, developed by Drs. Carrie Cameron and Shine Chang of The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, mentors will learn best practices and strategies for helping mentees develop their scientific speaking and writing skills, which have been shown to build mentees’ commitment to research careers. Virtual workshops are delivered in 2 online 3-hour sessions and are limited to 20 attendees; participants must attend both sessions.
